Network Marketing Leadership vs Management Skills

We are going to talk a little bit about leadership vs. management. As you are building your business and you are getting some successes, it’s essential for you to know what skills are important.

In Network Marketing, having Leadership Skills or having Management Skills are very different. You will see a big difference in one that will keep the momentum for your team to push ahead for HUGE success.

Network Marketing Leadership Skills

You always want to be in the leadership side of the business. You want to be leading. You want to be setting the pace. Whenever you are telling someone to do something, make sure you are doing it.

If you are telling somebody, “Hey you need to go out there. You need to go sponsor people. And you need to be talking to this amount of people, ect.

Make sure that you are doing some of those things. Because if not, they think. “Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.”

If you do that enough times and you are not doing anything, your group is going to stop listening to you.

Make sure that YOU are a leader in your organization. That you are leading the way. That you are not just leading with your words, but that you are leading with your ACTIONS.

That is going to be key. That is going to be very important in growing your business. Not only to whatever leadership level you are looking at, but in growing your business to great heights. Because people are going to be looking at you and they are going to be excited because of your leadership abilities and you how you are leading it.

And what you are doing to set the example.. If you are going to tell your people about events and you are not coming to events. Well, that is not a real good thing for you.

If you are going to tell them, “Hey, use your products.” But you are not using your products. Well, that is not a real good thing for you.

If you are saying, “Hey, listen. You need to be on automatic order and you are going to give your products on a regular basis.” But you are not doing it. Well then you are yapping but you are not really doing the things that you are telling them to do themselves.

After a while, people are going to stop listening to you. Make sure that you are leading by said good example.

Network Marketing Management Skills

On the other side we have management. This is probably the worst place that you want to be in your business. In Network Marketing management means you are NOT growing.

If you are sitting at home and you are on the phone and you are telling everybody else to go do what you are not doing. That is NOT a good thing. There is a lot of people who grow their businesses and they get to a certain level and all of a sudden they get into the management mode and they lose all the momentum and they lose all the creativity and they lose all the focus and they lose all the energy.

Let me tell you, that is the worst place that you want to be in your business because when you are in the management mode, your business is not growing.

You are saying to me, “How do you know that?” I am saying that to you, “I know that because I been there, done that.” That is not what you want to do.

You always want to be on the go, doing the things that is going to make your business go forward.

You want to do those activities that is going to grow your business. There are not too many of them.

Sitting at home and putting your books in alphabetical order and tagging all your CDs because you don’t want to lose them, that is not anything that is going to grow your business. Listen, the more CDs you lose because you are giving it to people, the more success you are going to have. So don’t be cheap about that. Invest in your business.

You want to get out of the management mode as fast as you can. Once you are in the management mode, your group is going to get in the management mode and if they do, the growth stops, excitement stops, momentum stops, nothing happens. Focus on your Network Marketing Leadership skills and you will be on the road to GREAT success.
